01. Characterizing the Need

Through field interviews, we observed that though Stanford students are very concerned about reducing carbon emissions at the societal level, they typically don't think about the impact their individual transportation choices have on their carbon footprint.

“Students get that emissions reduction is critical to halt global warming, but need help to see the how their individual daily choices really matter.”

02. Exploring Solutions

Initial prototype designs were functional but not fun. This led me to create an animated assistant - Ozzy, the ozone molecule - to enhance the user experience.
